Re: [TRNSYS-users] Pump control in domestic hot water system

Amadou,

This kind of question should go to your distributor's hotline for assistance. You'll need to send them the project and any files needed in order to run it. If you aren't sure who to contact send me a direct email and I'll get you pointed in the right direction.

Dear TRNSYS users,

I'm trying to model a domestic hot water using the type 156 for water storage. The pump is controlled by the type 165 (2-5 °C as hysteresis). But the difference between the temperature at the outlet of the collector and the lower tank temperature is always higher than 2°C. So the pump is always ON. When I checked in the plotter, it seems like the temperature is equal to the temperature of the immersed heat exchanger even at night when there's no radiation.

Can anyone help me fix this please ?

Regards,
Amadou
