Re: [TRNSYS-users] Unable to run TRNSYS 64-bit version

Paris,

The Simulation Studio is still 32-bit. The Studio is the interface that creates a text input file. TRNSYS's calculation engine (the TRNExe and the TRNDll) are 64-bit. Once you launch a simulation you'll see TRNExe64.exe come up in the task manager.

kind regards,

 David

Hello,

I have installed the 64-bit version of TRNSYS using the trnsys_18.04.0000_64bit_setup file, but when I run Simulation Studio it opens as 32-bit (in the task manager it appears as “Studio.exe (32 bit)”. Is there a way to force Simulation Studio to open as 64-bit?

Best regards,
