Hi Toni,
in that case I would suggest you try to find a sample window, maybe from a manufacturers website or from the TRNSYS standard window library, to see a realistic glazing system and select glass layers based on that.
Try to make sure that any coating is in the correct position within the construction - tip: when you add a laminated glass to your glazing system, a thin dashed line in the graphic indicates which side the layer is on and you can tick
flip to adjust the position.
Best,
Christina

So it is possible that I did something wrong and totally unintentional. I am not interested in daylight analysis. So what I did is just choose panes in order to reach the U and g value that we wanted, but if there would be the possibility to solve this error doing omething different in WINDOW7.7 I would be definitely interested.
What should I do?
Thanks a lot.

Hi Toni,
according to the files you attached, every pane of your window is coated on the outside. That seems an unusual configuration, is that really what you are trying to model? You could also export your W7.7 configuration to a *.mdb file, then we can have a look and understand how it was generated.
Best regards, Christina

Hi everyone, I used WINDOW 7.7 (following step by step the attached tutorial) to model four windows and I exported the *.dat file (here attached).
I imported it in TRNBUILD library to run a simulation (I am using Trnsys18). The model works but in the log file appear messages regarding the "visual transmission values" and the "incorrect selectivity of visual+solar transmission" (see attached the log file).
It is the first time I am using WINDOW 7.7. Probably I did something wrong.
Could you please check the *.dat file in order to understand if the *.dat file is correct? I asked already the developers of WINDOW tool, but they told me this is something correlated to Trnsys itself.
Thanks a lot and have a nice day.
