Re: [TRNSYS-users] Unable to run user-created component model

Dear Tim.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to recompile the component source code, but an error occurred (see attached). The component was previously created using the TRNSYS16 template (with argument list). Then, I tried to recompile another component source code created using the TRNSYS17 template. No error was found. Do it mean that I need to convert all the component source codes which were developed using the TRNSYS16 template to the ones based on the TRNSYS17 template in order to recompile to the 64-bit version for use in TRNSYS18? Please advise. Thank you!

As you are using the 64-bit version of TRNSYS you will need to
recompile your Type243.dll as a 64-bit dll.

Tim

Dear all.

I try to run a project file in TRNSYS18 which was previously created
in TRNSYS17. However, I encountered an error saying that Type243 was
called but could not find the dll file. Meanwhile, I got the message
that Type243.dll was found (see attached screenshot). Can anyone help
me to solve the problem? Thank you!
