[TRNSYS-users] Energy balance of the active layer

Hi everyone,

For a pilot project we are analyzing a heating system in which an "external wall heating system" is installed on the façade. Basically we have a wall with an active layer that is insulated on the back in order to decrease the losses of this active layer to the outside.

We would like to evaluate how much energy is delivered by the active layer and how much energy from the active layer goes in to the room and how much energy from the active layer goes outside. So my question is which is/are the outputs with which I can evaluate where and how much energy of the active layer goes in to the room and how much energy is lost to the outside?

As far I understand:

QALFL (Ntype 59) -> energy input by fluid of active layer. This will be the total energy delivered by the system. Correct?

What about the part of this energy that goes in reality in the room as heating energy?

What about the part of this energy that is losses through transmission losses to the outside?

Thanks a lot.
