Gabriela,
There are a lot of possibilities that might cause something like
this. Things that I would look at are whether there is the correct
VENTILATION set up in each zone of the building. I have made the
mistake a number of times in v18 of defining a VENTILATION in
TRNBuild but then forgetting to select it at the zone level. I
would also check the flow rate of liquid that is going into and
out of the fan coils in the zones that are not behaving. It may be
that if the zones are all being fed by a single pump that there
isn't enough flow available to feed all the fan coils the amount
of liquid that they want.
kind regards,
David
Dear Users,
I'm using type 928 (fan coils) to heat 13 zones of a building. For 10 of the zones, the heat transfer takes place from the hot water stream to the air (as it should be), the temperature of the water is reduce with 3oC and a significant thermal energy is delivered to the air. There are some problems with the 3 others zones:- for one of them the heat transfer rate is 0 and for two of them the heat transfer takes place in the opposite way (the water is heated instead of being cooled)- the air temperature of the zones is used as input (return air temperature) for the type 928; even though the temperature in the rooms is less than 30oC and the inlet water temperature is 63oC, it seems that for this 3 zones the outlet air temperature is grater than 65oC
Please give some advice regarding this problem!Thank you!
Gabriela
