Re: [TRNSYS-users] Fan coil with heat pump

Dr Bina,

  I would guess that the cause of the error is that the cooling data file doesn't have the correct number of data values in it or else that it does not exist where it is expected to be found. The file is not accessed until it is needed so it makes sense that the error would not appear until cooling is required in the building.

In "supply air conditioning" you want to select "external by another component" and then select "userdefined" for both the temperature and the humidity. Define input variables for each of these. When you save your changes in TRNBuild and return to the Studio you will have three new inputs (mass flow rate, temperature, and relative humidity) for the air that is going into that zone of the building. These will be passed from the fan coil model.

kind regards,

 David

Dear users;
I have modeled a water-to-water heat pump which is connected to a fan coil (type 600). The fan coil is connected to a building (Type 56).
for connection, I defined input as ventilation. When the system shifts to cooling mode, the system gives an error and stops suddenly.
I have another question regarding the ventilation inputs for fan coil:
In "supply air conditioning" fan coil is an "external by other component" or internal calculation?
