Re: [TRNSYS-users] UNITS IN PUMP TYPES

Ricardo,

If the conversion factor is incorrect between hp and kJ/h then it would be the case for all proformas. I would recommend checking a few other components to see whether the problem is consistent across all components (as opposed to just for the pumps). If it is a consistent error then you'll need to check your unit dictionary as it sounds as though it has gotten modified. You can access the unit dictionary by selecting it from the "tools" menu in the Simulation Studio. You could also simply replace the file .\Trnsys17\Studio\Exe\dictionary.dic with a copy from your original installation.

kind regards,

 David

Hi All.
In TYPES 3b, 3d, 110 and 114  (TRNSYS 17) in the proforma, in the PARAMETERS tab, one sepecifies the power of the pump. It happens that when I specify 1 hp, and revert the units to kJ/h, the value shown is in J/h , not kJ.THe output is also in J/h, not kJ as the labels in the units column show.
Is this only a mistake in the label?
