Adrian,
This is one of our areas of current development. However, in
the current version, we just let Windows be in charge of what CPU
resources TRNSYS has access to. As a result we can't speed up
simulations by assigning them to multiple cores or threads.
kind regards
David
Dear TRNSYS users,
I would like to ask if you know a way to increase the percentage of the CPU capacity that TRNEXE uses, in order to make faster simulations.
My task manager shows that the memory usage and disk usage are low too, so they don't seem to be a limitation.
The CPU usage moves between 13% and 18%.
My CPU model is: Intel Core i7-4700MQ, it has 4 cores and 8 threats, and a base frequency of 2.4 GHz.
I would be very grateful with any advice.
Regards,
Adrian Riebel
