A few things to check:
1) Can you run with the sample script from the Type169 description in the MathematicalReference volume of the TRNSYS documentation set?
2) Are you trying to load external libraries in your script? (This does not work with the TRNSYS-Python link.)
3) Is the file containing your Python script named in all lower case letters?

Tim

Dear TRNSYS users,I am trying to use Type 169 to connect my TRNSYS simulation with a Python script.I am getting the following error: The python script file failed to load.I don't know what to do because the error message tells me no reasons why this could be happening. I have TRNSYS version 18.00.0015 and Python 3.6.8, both of them in 64 bits. The file Type169.dll is linked to Python36.dll.Thanks for your help.Best regards,Adrian Riebel
