Erik,

 Normally, Trnsys18's Type62 can connect to Excel. Are you finding that it doesn't?

 There have been some situations in which I wasn't able to get my VBA macro to work so instead, I started from one of the Excel/Type62 examples and then modified it to transfer my data instead of the data that goes back and forth in the example.
