Arian,
There are three desiccant wheel models in the TESS HVAC library: Type716, Type1716, and Type1225. None of them have silica gel properties built into them. However, Types716 and 1716 use a concept called a potential curve that is defined by two parameters, F1 and F2. Technically, you could get F1 and F2 parameters for any desiccant that you want. Practically, though, I think it would probably be difficult to find them. Type1225 is a performance map that gives outlet air conditions as a function of inlet air conditions. The map that is provided as an example was generated using a free tool that the manufacturer of a particular rotary desiccant system provided in order to assist designers with equipment selection.
kind regards,
David
Dear all,
I wonder whether there are any TESS components for desiccant wheel using other materials rather than Silica gel?
Best Regards,
Arian
