Re: [TRNSYS-users] For Help!About using R134a in collector module Type74

Li,

I am not sure whether or not anyone responded to your question. You would definitely have to write a new collector model or begin with Type74 and modify the code extensively. You would need to determine at what point in the collector the liquid begins to vaporize and you would need to make a call to the FluidProperties routine to determine the properties (temperature, enthalpy, density, etc.) of the R134A as it travels through the collector.

kind regards,

 David

Dear TRNSYS users,

Thanks for your help!
Only the specific heat capacity is set in the collector module, but if I want to use R134a, the working medium will undergo a phase change in the collector, and the specific heat capacity will also change.
I want to ask for help, how to use this working medium in a collector for a direct expansion solar heat pump?

Best regards!

Guanming Li
