[TRNSYS-users] Query regarding Type666 and type12c

Dear users

1.       I want to use the Chiller model Type666 in a project. I have some manufacturers data like rated cooling power, electric consumption at certain temperatures, rated COP and rated power. But as you can see in the figure below, we need to provide two data files( catalogue entries) for chiller.

I have the issue in file for performance data. We need to provide COP ratio and capacity ratio. In the math reference the definition is as follows:

I have the rated values with me, but where do I get the ratio values?? Is this something like curve fits which needs to be understood by trial and error?

2.       I want to simulate a walk-in refrigeration cooler in TRNSYS. Now since there is no in-built model for walk-in cooler in TRNSYS, I calculated the load definitions on my own and provided them as the inputs in the form of forcing function to the Type12c model( Energy-degree day model). Although the model is pretty basic in nature, it still asks me the following parameters:

I calculated the cooling load assuming all the possible conditions. Now these values are in addition and if I don’t provide the correct values, then I don’t get the desired room temperatures. Is there any simpler way of providing a cooling load definition which takes in just hourly loads and temperature set point as inputs and give the output as the number of unmet hours for cooling load. Is it possible to combine 4-pipe FCU to provide cold air into a chamber?

I need some urgent help on these issues !!!

Thanks
