Re: [TRNSYS-users] (no subject)

Emilie,

You'll need to modify the Type173 proforma. Double click on it in the direct access tool (in the directory tree on the right, not in your project) and switch to the "variables" tab then click on the button at the top of the window. Select the "inputs" tab then select the input in question and click "modify." Change the units to amperes then close and save the proforma. Next, go to your project and right click on the Type173 and select "replace" from the context menu. Browse to find the Type173a proforma again.

Out of curiosity, which version of Trnsys are you using? I checked back to an early version of 17.1 and in that version both the Type194 output and the Type173 input are both "amperes"

kind regards,

 David

Dear users,

I am encoutering a problem of conversion between 2 types in TRNSYS. I linked a PV solar system with a fuel cell and my problem is:
The unit of the current in the PV solar system (type 194b) is "ampere"
The unit of the current in the fuel cell type (173a) is "A" (IFC)
I suppose they are both units the same but the link cannot be made between the input and the output (even with a calculator between them).
Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanking you in advance.

Kind regards,
Emilie Giassis
