Vajihe, I would check first to see whether you can get one of the two
Type62 examples to run. If they run without the access violation
error then I would recommend you try to modify one of them rather
than starting a new project from scratch. If you do still get the
access violation then the problem may have to do with permissions.
Please be aware that Trnsys16 was replaced by Trnsys17 in 2009,
which was replaced by Trnsys18 in 2017. It may have some
fundamental limitations that prevent it from communicating with
more recent versions of Excel. Of course I don't know the larger context of your project but if all you are doing is reading a series of mass flow rates from an Excel file then there is no need for Type62. Save the data in a text format (like *.csv) and read it using Type9. kind regards, David
