Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type62

Vajihe,

I would check first to see whether you can get one of the two Type62 examples to run. If they run without the access violation error then I would recommend you try to modify one of them rather than starting a new project from scratch. If you do still get the access violation then the problem may have to do with permissions. Please be aware that Trnsys16 was replaced by Trnsys17 in 2009, which was replaced by Trnsys18 in 2017. It may have some fundamental limitations that prevent it from communicating with more recent versions of Excel.

Of course I don't know the larger context of your project but if all you are doing is reading a series of mass flow rates from an Excel file then there is no need for Type62. Save the data in a text format (like *.csv) and read it using Type9.

 kind regards,

 David

Hi all,
I need to enter various amount of mass flow rate for connecting to absorption chiller. For this I should use type 62 in my simulation. it doesn't operate and something goes wrong with this error "access violation at address..." who can help me using type 62?
I'm simulating with trnsys16 and both excel versions of 2003 and 2016.
