Re: [TRNSYS-users] Stratified tank

Jibi,

Yes, Type4 assumes that the flow to the load comes from the top node of the tank. It also assumes that the flow to the heat source comes from the bottom of the tank.

kind regards,

 David

Dear all,

I have some doubt regarding the stratified storage tank 'type 4c' in TRNSYS 17.

When we connect the 'Temperature to load' of stratified tank with the next component, say, a diverter, from where exactly the flow happens? Is it from the top node of the tank?
I referred the manual. Can I get any source to know how this tank works in reality?

Thanks & regards
Jibi
