Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type 534 Inlet Flow Mode 3, GenOpt

Dear TRNSYS users,

I asked a question last week regarding parametrization of the volume of the tank type 534 in “INLET FLOW MODE=3” (version with plug-in) , which I send it here once again. I would be appreciative if someone has encountered such a problem could possibly advise about it.

Best regards,

Hoofar

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Type 534 Inlet Flow Mode 3, GenOpt

Dear All,

I am using type 534 tank for stratification. As the inlet flow temperature to the tank is not defined and varies over time, I have to use „INLET FLOW MODE = 3”. However, changing this parameter is not possible in without plug-in type (as it is locked). At the same time, I am running an optimization using GenOpt and one of the optimization parameters is the volume of the tank. The problem is that in type 534 with plug-in, I can not choose the volume as parameter which changes by each GenOpt run and just fixed numbers can be used in plug-in. How can I resolve this problem?

Best regards,

Hoofar
