Re: [TRNSYS-users] Pump option for fluid circulation

Arian,

You could set the input of one of the valves to set the flow rate for your system but you’ll need to be extremely careful.  Make sure you plot the flow rates around the loop to ensure you’ve got everything set correctly.  Can I ask why you’re not considering using a pump model?

Hi,

Is it possible to simulate a closed circuit without having pump to circulate a fluid in the circuit using some valve options instead (For instance, setting mass flow rate as the input or parameter of some kind of valves) ? Please have a look at these two Figures to see whether the system on the right hand side is working practically or not. Thank you so much for your attention.
