Jose,

I think your best bet it to code a new model with steam as the working fluid. The other work-arounds are just that - work arounds. I noticed there are several technical articles on this concept and one used TRNSYS as the simulation engine. You might want to contact the authors to see if their model is available if you don't want to code it yourself.

Perhaps having 2 solar fields with and intermediate flash tank?

It won’t operate in the same way, since the heat transfer in the
evaporation zone won’t be modeled, but it is an approach.
