thank you for answered me. If i correctly
understood the samplecatalog file is an example that i can use
like a model for my personal performance data. But, if i don’t
have the performance data (from manufacturer’catalog) how can
resolve the situation? Can i use the example file and modify
parameters like capacity and power?
Another question: if i don’t want to use
the same indipendent values on wich type 927 is built, the
only solution that i have is to create a new type. Is
correctly?

Chiara,
The file is text based so you can edit it with a text
editor such as notepad. I prefer to edit them in Excel and
then save the file as tab delimited text. All of the
information in the file comes from manufacturer's catalog
data, which can be downloaded from a heat pump manufacturer's
website. The format of the file is discussed in the model's
documentation. The documentation can be found in
..\TrnsysXX\Tess Models\Documentation\
