Re: [TRNSYS-users] TRNBuild3D

Dear Marius,

I had the same problem. On that case, I found that the versions of TRNSYS and Transys3d that I was using were not compatible.
Try to use trnsys3d through this directory:
C:\Trnsys17\Tools

Dear Marius,

I just tried and did mistakes on purpose in order to obtain the same error. I get the same one when I draw a building without creating a new TRNSYS zone before.

In SketchUP, before drawing a building, you must create a new zone tool (a blue empty box appears). You'll find this option in the TRNSYS3D plugin tool. Then double click on the cross located in a corner of the newly created box (click somewhere outside the box and you will see it, it's a black cross). Now the new zone appears in dash lines. You can create your building within the zone.

After that, do the same as you did and it should work.

I launch Simulation Studio, i create a new project, i click on « 3D Building Project(multizone) » and after, when i have to choose the idf file, i select it a the right location. And when i click on « open », it load during 2 seconds and i have a pop up window with writen : « no Output’s specified / please add at least one output »

Dear Marius,

Can you detail at which step you get this error message?
