Re: [TRNSYS-users] help

Hi Saeed,

We have used the STEC model for the heliostat field. The field efficiency matrix is a map of the efficiency for your heliostat field for pairs of solar zenith and azimuth angle. The model requires you to know what the average efficiency of the entire field is for a range of solar angles. Do you have any measured data from the heliostat field you are modelling? If not you must make an assumption. See the default file to see how the data is arranged.

Kind regards,
Alastair

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] help

hello every one
i hope you are fine

i have some question about heliostat and solar tower modeling in trnsys and i would be thankful if you help me.

1-how can i get heliostat field efficency matrix i mean a file like "matr02.dat"file in trnsys STEC example for heliostat field ??...can i get that from a software or i have to get that myself manually?if i can get from a software which software is sutable do you think?

2-how can i get file for insoulation in analysis i mean a file like "BRST84.dat" in trnsys STEC example.??

thankyou for your help
