in TRNSYS 18, for internal calculation of the convective heat transfer coefficients, you have to choose between the three options floor, ceiling or vertical wall.


The formula to describe the convective heat transfer coefficients can be found in Chapter 5.2.3.2 of the documentation:

Dear users,


I would like to know if the parameters for internal calculation of heat transfer coefficients (constant and exponent) are the same for a floor or a ceiling than for a wall (which is a vertical surface)? In my model, ceiling and floor are unheated and unchilled.
