Re: [TRNSYS-users] have a problem with modeling a wall

Hi,

You can try to compose your own wall by adjusting layers thickness in order to reach the R-value you're asking for. However, there's a lack of information : the thermal capacity of your wall. Without it, you could have an infinite amount of solution depending on your wall composition. so I would say no, the answer is that you can't model the wall only with the R-value.

Hi
I want to model the attach wall with TRNBUILD,but i have no detail on
structure of that wall.
The only thing i have from the wall is R-value of it, is there any
chance that i could model this wall in TRNBUILD with just R-value?
Please help me with this problem.
Thanks
