Re: [TRNSYS-users] How to model water radiators in simulation studio Trnsys V18 ?

Paul,

There is a radiator model in the TESS HVAC library. There is not a radiator model in the standard v18 library.

You may be able to approximate a radiator by defining a combination of radiative and convective gains in your building zone and then finding an algorithm that equates the hot water temperature and flow rate into the radiator (as well as the radiator surroundings temperature) to the amount of energy that it gives off.

kind regards,

 David

Dear all users,

Do you know how can I model heating in a zone by radiators ? I don't find any radiators component in the HVAC library.

Thank you for your help,
All the best
