Re: [TRNSYS-users] output print settings

Wirich,

I would recommend that you take the data file that is produced by TRNSYS (with the scientific notation) and import it into Excel, then transform it to the way you would like to see the numbers represented. There are ways of specifying a "formatted write" statement using Type25 or Type46 but in my experience, it is more trouble to set up than it is worth

kind regards,

 David

Dear Trnsys users,

I would like to change the settings of the output file which is attached to this mail. As you can see, the values are in scientific mode with 16 digits after the coma.

I would ike to change it to a standard number, with only 2 digits after the coma. For example, instead of having "+1.8922925151251121E+01", I would like to have "18.92".

How can I do that? I don't find the option in TRNSYS neither in TRNEDIT.

Thanks in advance
