Re: [TRNSYS-users] solar processor tracking mode

Adnan,

I think you want to use fixed surfaces in Type16. Otherwise the assumption is that the building turns throughout the day to follow the sun in some way.

kind regards,

Hi everyone,

i want to observe the effect of orientation of building on energy demand, i am using Type56, with type9 with type 16 . my question is in TYPE 16 solar radiation processor there are 4 tracking modes. which one i need to use my building walls with slopes and surface azimuth. i think tracking mode 3 will be okk? what i understand is mentioned below

1-fixed surface
2- where azimuth angle ignored
3- takes azimuth and slope also
4-both azimuth and slope ignored.

am i right here???

regards
Adnan
