[TRNSYS-users] Problem with Type 56 with small time steps / Error: Internal error in solar radiation distribution (sumsitot)...

Hello Community,

i have trouble with calculating 3D buildings with TYPE 56 using small time steps, for example 0.1 hr, 0.2 hr, 0.25 hr. (but works fine with 1 hr). The Error Message comes together with two warnings, see below (for 0.1). With different time steps (0.2, 0.25), the same error occours earlier or later.

I use the Meteonorm Weather Files, but this also happens with TMY2.

Maybe anybody has some experience with that?

*** Warning at time       :      1089.300000

    Generated by Unit     :    36

    Generated by Type     :    15

Message               : The total horizontal radiation calculated from the sum of the beam and diffuse horizontal radiation exceeded the horizontal extraterrestrial radiation and was set to the extraterrestrial. The beam and diffuse radiation on the horizontal were then calculated base on their original ratios for 325 timesteps during the simulation.

Thanks alot,
