Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type97 error

Ahmed,

If your project has a lot of horizontal openings then this is common problem. There are a couple of ways to work towards a solution.

First, you can increase the number of iterations that CONTAM allows by editing the *.air file. The first value in the third line of the file is the allowable number of iterations. By default it is set to 30. I usually increase it to 100.

Second, you may need to artificially delay the coupling between TRNSYS and CONTAM. I usually delay the temperatures of the airnodes coming from Type56 and being passed to CONTAM by using either Type93 or Type661. If you do this, it is very important that you also use a short timestep of 5 minutes or less) or else the assumption of delayed times becomes unrealistic.

kind regards,

 David

Dear all

What is the error exactly and what should i do to solve
