Re: [TRNSYS-users] TRNOPT and coupled simulation

Xavier,

The only thing I can think of is that TRNOpt makes copies of some files and when it runs the TRNSYS input file, does so from a different working directory than when you run the same input file without TRNOPT. If you have not already done so, please make sure that all pathnames in the External Files tab of the components in your simulation are specified as full path names (ie starting with the drive letter)

kind regards,

 David

Dear all,

I’m doing some couple contam-trnsys simulation and was willing to do some optimization with it.

I’ve define the parameters I wanted to be optimized regarding a cost function. But I have the following error message when running trnopt process.

The couple simulation works well using only trnsys (with type 98 for contam exchange).

If someone has any idea of what I’m doing wrong ?

Many thanks

Xavier
