Hi Ahmed, I would program this inside the TRNSYS Studio rather than in TRNBuild as its slightly more complicated. Create three new Type 14 Forcing Functions in Studio, and program the occupancy lightly hourly schedule for each one, for summer/winter/spring. Use Type 14d specifically for
lighting. The instantaneous output for each of these could be called LIGHTING_SUMMER, etc. Then create three more general Type 14h Forcing Functions, each one being equal to 1 during the required period, whether that is summer/winter/spring. The time values should
go from 0 to 8760. The instantaneous output for each of these could be called SUMMER_TIME, etc. Then combine these together in one equation such as: LIGHTING_SCHEDULE = LIGHTING_SUMMER*SUMMER_TIME + LIGHTING_SPRING*WINTER_TIME + LIGHTING_SPRING*SPRING_TIME. Then feed this into your Type56 building by creating a new input in TRNBuild, update building variable list, and connect the LIGHTING_SCHEDULE into the building. A simple way to do this is with just two forcing functions – one for the lighting schedule, and one for the seasonal profile, which multiplies the lighting schedule up or down
by a factor, depending on the annual season. But you would need to use the first method using 6 forcing functions if you required unique schedules for each season. Kind regards,
