Re: [TRNSYS-users] Convergence limits at hot temperatures

Dear Camille,

are you using TRNFlow or do your ventilation or infiltration rates depend on dT between inside and outside?

This could lead to very high air change rates when reaching Tzone=70°C and those high air change rates could lead to iteration problems.

Best
Jakob

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Convergence limits at hot temperatures

Dear all,

I’m trying to use TRNSYS to simulate a building in summer extreme conditions, up to 45°C outdoor and with high gains, inside temperatures reach 70°C.

I have convergence problems. Is TRNSYS adapted to these temperatures ? What are the limits of the software for inside temperature ?

Best regards,

Camille
