Re: [TRNSYS-users] Event Counter

Thanks very much Jeremy…TYPE 93 combined with a few GE/LT statements works perfectly.

Cheers,

Brendan

HI Brendan,

We use TYPE 93 Input Value Recall to look at the value at the previous time step to the current time step. And a conditional GT(X1,X2) statement to count only the changes in a particular direction like turn off as a posted to turning on. Then use a TYPE 55 integrator to count the events.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
Jeremy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Event Counter

Hi TRNSYS users,

I’m looking for an event counter that can count the number of times a pump has turned on in a simulation. I found a thread in the user-archives that discussed an event counter, but the file available is a .BIN that I cannot seem to mount. Does anyone know of or have an event counter they could share?

Thanks,

Brendan
