Re: [TRNSYS-users] New heating / cooling type

Issmail

Type56 has built-in idealized heating and cooling types that will meet a setpoint temperature if you have set them up to have unlimited heating and cooling capacity. What you are looking at in TRNBuild is the heating set point temperature that is being met. The temperature maintained in the room is based on the equation 5*schedule + 15 where schedule is the value of a SCHEDULE function defined in the TRNBuild schedule manager. It probably has a value of either 0 or 1 depending on when the building is occupied. This would mean that when the building is unoccupied the heating set temperature would be 15C and that when the building is occupied, the heating set temperature would be 20C.

kind regards,

 David

Dear users,
In the order of setting a new heating type, I don't understand the difference between the room temperature control when it's set up to constant value (20 °C for instance) and the schedule value (5*schedule + 15 °C for instance) !!
Can some one explain to me the difference, specially for the second value : 5*schedule + 15 °C ?

Best regards,
