Re: [TRNSYS-users] error - shiding/insulation matrix

I am simulating Solar PV installation output over a building by using Trnsys. There are two parts of the roof with different elevations. One part is shaded by other part of the roof. We supposed to install solar PV on both part of the roof. I want to find the solar radiations of both part of the roof in order to calculate solar PV out put of the roof. How can we use Trnsys for this simulation. I made a building drawing by using Google Sketch Up. Once I imported .idf file to Trnsys, it doesn’t show two roof with differenr radiations. It showa the roof as only one unit. In this case I cannot calculate the solar radiation on solar Pv panels in two roofs separately. Can we use Trnsys for this simulation.

Dear Users,
I would be grateful if somebody could help mi problem with generation shading/insulation matrix. If I do it I get error that print screen is attached… I try to look if in TRNSYS3d are some errors, but after exporting to idf file it seems that everything is ok… Regards,
Karol
