I am using the virtual surface to shape the canyon between two buildings. The problem arises when in trnsys17 define the detailed radiation mode to the canyon, because it can not generate the view factor matrix. Why?

Yes, you can use it for touching zones if you want to merge them later in TRNBuild to one zone with two airnodes.
