Re: [TRNSYS-users] problem in trnsys when designing the windows

Vagias,
If you have drawn your building using the Trnsys3D plugin for SketchUp then you can define shading objects such as overhangs in SketchUp then generate a shading mask file in TRNBuild (please refer to the SketchUp/Trnsys3D documentation). If you want to use Type34 then you will need to go into TRNBuild and set the solar radiation calculation method from "internal" to "external by another component." Once you do so, you will notice that Type56 will require three new inputs: total radiation, beam radiation, and angle of incidence of beam radiation" on the surface that you switched. These inputs will be provided by outputs from an instance of Type34.
kind regards,
 David

Hello to everybody!

How can i attach an overhang to see if i will have less energy gains... what connections should i do between the type34 and the building?
any ideas?
