Re: [TRNSYS-users] Pv panel type 194

Sandeep,
This subject is covered in the Type194 section of the 04-MathematicalReference manual (located in the ..Trnsys17\Documentation\ directory. The "power" output from Type194 is the power at the given (user defined) load voltage. If you have a PV that is connected to the load through a maximum power point tracker (as most are) then you want the output power at the maximum power point. If you have a PV that is directly connected to a load without a maximum power point tracker then you need the component that models your load to pass its load voltage to the PV model as an input so that the PV model can find the intersection between the load voltage and the PV array voltage.

Hello TRNSYS users!

I am modeling a PV panel using type -194 and want to calculate total Energy produced in whole year. The output from array power (W)( third output) is zero. The only power output I am getting is from Power at maximum power point (fourth output);  Is it appropriate to calculate total energy from ‘Power at maximum power point’?
