Hi Hsein,
Thank you very much for your email. After checking all the Type155.dll
files matching the different Matlab versions in my .\exe\dll folder, I found
that the most recent version was that of R2011b. The version of Matlab I’m using
is R2014a which does not match any available files. I contacted Trnsys support
and David kindly sent me a copy of the right copy of Type155.dll. After
replacing the old file with the new, I followed the procedure given in your
email and the problem was essentially solved. I can now use Type 155 in my
Trnsys 17 projects.
Kind regards
Ali El-Nashar

Hi Ali,
In fact I faced similar problem while trying to connect the two software.
As David said you must check which MATLAB version is supported in your TRNSYS
version. If you are using trnsys 17, following the below steps must solve your
problem:
Hope you find these information useful,
Houssein.

You can either move or replace the existing files. If you do not have the most recent release, it would probably be best to contact your distributor and obtain it. Please be aware that the link between TRNSYS and Matlab only works with the 32-bit version of Matlab and that you need to make sure that you and the SYSTEM user both have full control level access to the computer. kind regards, David On 06/21/2015 04:34, Ali El-Nashar
