Basma Hamdi, Neither TRNSYS 16 nor the STEC library are officially supported. However, the answer to your question is relevant in Trnsys17 as well so: the error message may have specified which Type is causing the problem. This would be useful to know so that you know whether or not the problem is actually being caused by the STEC library or by something else. There are also a number of notices printed to the list file before the error stating which external DLLs are found and which ones contain Types that are in the simulation. You should see the file stecdll.dll being found, loaded, and containing Types from the simulation.
