Re: [TRNSYS-users] Heating-cooling activated while inside temperature limits

Maarten,
Please send the project files to your distributor so that they can have a look. There are so many different ways that the reporting and models could be set up that would explain what you are seeing that it is not possible to guess just from looking at the output file.

As a side note (I don't think it is related) we highly recommend setting your computer to use the "." as the decimal separator and the "," as the thousands separator when running TRNSYS. TRNSYS uses the "," to separate values and the "." only in numbers.
kind regards,
 David

Dear TRNSYS users,

We encounter a problem that, using the heating and cooling function in a simple building zone, the results show heating or cooling at hours where the air node temperature is within the imposed 20-23 °C limits.  Heating and cooling power are set to unlimited, the building zone has 1 exterior wall with a window, concrete floor and ceiling and lightweight internal walls.

TRNSYS17, Trnbuild 2.0

(see attached file e.g. hour 12, 14, 66, 68, 70, 83)

Any suggestions?
