Re: [TRNSYS-users] ORC module

Alexandros,
I am not aware of a ready-made ORC component. The idea of using Type42 would be to determine some independent variables (source temperature, sink temperature) on which the performance of the ORC depends and then to determine a performance metric for the ORC (like a COP for example) that would vary as a function of the values of  your independent variables. Both the independent and dependent variables would get put into the Type42 data file format.
kind regards,
 David

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to provide me the procedure to "build" an ORC generator component in TRNSYS 17.
I know somehow I have to Change the parameters in Type 42 for example, but as far as I 've read
I couldn't understand how. Is there any "ready to use" module... anywhere?

Kind Regards
Alexandros
