Thank you so much David for your answer!
I need a cogenerator, an engine which has a hot water flowrate and a certain temperature, as outputs. This is the reason why I asked for help with an ICE component and an heat generator.Could you help me? Can I find a type for a cogenerator, an engine which has a hot water flowrate and a certain temperature, as outputs? I have Trnsys 16.1 with TESS library.
Thank you again!
Best Regards,Lally

Lally,
There is a diesel engine generator component available in the standard TRNSYS library (Type120). There is a different model of an internal combustion engine in the TESS CHP library (which is an add-on to the standard package). I am not sure what (specifically) you mean by a heat generator. There are quite a few TRNSYS components that simulate devices that generate heat.
kind regards,
David

Hi Trnsys people! I'm trying to simulate a model of Heating District with Trnsys 16.1 , in my final thesis at the university. Does somebody know some Trnsys Types to simulate an ICE component and a Heat Generator?
Thanks to everybody!
