Re: [TRNSYS-users] supply heating element in storage tank with dumped generated power of Type 4b
Matthias,
If you have access to Type534 (in the TESS Storage Library) it is
quite easy to add energy directly to any of the nodes in the tank.
Unfortunately there isn't an easy way to do what you are proposing in
either Type4 or Type60.

David

Dear TRNSYS users,
i want to supply a thermal storage tank type 4 for domnestic hot water
with the dumped generated power of an inverter Type 48b combined with
a pv-generator Type 94a and a type 47a battery.
Are there any opportunities, types etc. to supply an heating element
in a thermal storage with variabel power e. g. to increase the
internal consumption of a pv- and heatpump-system of a family house?
I'm just able to set the heating element with a fixed value on or off.
Would be very thankful for an answer.
Bests,
Matthias
