Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type 108, parameters range

Safwan,
I'd recommend you read the 04-MathematicalReference.pdf entry concerning Type108 if you are confused and have not already done so. Type108 is a very simple on/off controller with hysteresis. A cooling signal will turn on if the monitored temperature rises above the cooling set point plus half the deadband temperature difference. The signal will turn off if the monitored temperature falls to the cooling setpoint minus half the deadband.
regards,
 David

Dear All,

I am quite confused about using Type 108 for control building, pumps, chiller and fan, I want to know what are the best values or ranges for monitoring temperature, 1st stage cooling set point and temperature dead band. I tried different values and I got different results. So could you advice me in this issue.

I am looking to hearing from you soon.
