Re: [TRNSYS-users] Calling matlab

Oussama,
Please have a careful look at the Type155 documentation section in the 04-MathematicalReference.pdf manual. There are a few very specific steps that you must follow in order to get TRNSYS and Matlab to communicate. One of those steps asks you to make sure that you have the version of Type155.dll in the ..\Trnsys17\Exe directory that corresponds to your version of Matlab. DLLs for various versions of Matlab are located in the ..\Trnsys17\Exe\DLLs\ directory.
Kind regards,
 David

Hello everyone,
I am trying to run the example about calling matlab in trnsys 17, but an error is reported: check if matlab version is supported and if win32 is found in windows path

Knowing that I have already installed matlab R2009a.

Please,  does anyone knows how can I solve this problem?

Thank in advance

Oussama

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Import and re-connect different radiation data in TRNSYS 17

Hello everyone, I'd like to ask something about how to import a different set of RADIATION data (.prn) and re-connect the new imported values to the building in the same way the file was originally and automatically created (after the importation of a .idf file from the Trnsys3d plugin for Sketchup) in TRNSYS 17.

I've already used this kind of procedure for temperature and relative humidity data, using a .prn input file and "Type 9b", but this specific case seems a little bit different and difficult for me to understand. I also know that a specific Type should exist in order to automatically separate and re-distribute the new imported values to the corresponding facedes and so on..

Any sort of advice would be really appreciated,
Thank you,
Giulia
