Jorge, The character combination *|( is recognized by TRNSED as the syntax for beginning a group of checkboxes. In the case of Type340 I guess that the proforma has a variable in it called (UA)s,a1. TRNEdit (which interprets TRNSED syntax) is getting confused by the open parenthesis character. It thinks a checkbox group is starting and doesn't understand that the "(" is part of the variable in a numerical value field. The way to fix the problem permanently is to edit the Type340 proforma and change the name of the parameter so that it does not have a parenthesis as its first character, then right click on Type340 in your project and select "replace" from the context menu. Browse to find the location of the modified proforma and then generate your TRNSED application again. A much simpler fix would be to simply change the TRNSED line to read: UASAHEAT=0 *|Heat loss capacity rate of the store through the first zone (dz1) of the store mantle |kJ/hr.K|kJ/hr.K|0|1|0|1000000.00000|1000 With this second fix, the problem would come back if you were to ever generate another TRNSED application from a simulation that includes Type340.
