Dear TRNSYS users,
I have a txt file that represents cooling load of a building from 0 to 8760 hr (in
hr timestep) and it consists of two columns (time,hr & load,kW)
And I'd like to use type 9e to read it in a project that will run only in the summer in 1 min time step.
Therefore, to understand the reading and the interpolating process of type 9e:
I connected type 9e to printer 25c (output 2 of type 9e to printer
25c) and I let the simulation run from 3624 to 3648 (for example) in a 1 hour timestep.
The parameter of type 9e are:
Mode 5
Headers to skip 1
No. of values to read
2
Time interval of data 1 hr
Interpolate or not-1 1 (interpolate)
Multiplication of factor-1 1
Addition factor-1
0
Average or instantaneous value-1
1 (instantaneous)
Interpolate or not-2 1 (interpolate)
Multiplication of factor-2 1
Addition factor-2 0
Average or instantaneous value-2 1 (instantaneous)
However, when I compared the resulted text file with the original (input) load file I found a small difference between them (just the start point was the same value)
hr original type9e

I changed the mode to 4 but I did not get the same input values as well.
Am I selected the wrong type of 9 or there is something incorrect in the parameters
Please can
