Re: [TRNSYS-users] Electrolyser with fuel cell

Sascha,
I would recommend that you look at the Stand-Alone Power System.tpf example as a starting point. If I remember correctly, the input "fuel cell current" is a bit like a set point; it is the amount of current that is required to be provided by the fuel cell in order to meet the load.
Best,

Hello,

I am trying to build an island system consisting of PV, battery, electrolyser and fuel cell.

The input of the fuel cell really puzzle me. Can you please explain from what the input IFC (Total electrical current provided by FC unit.) is?

And which current should I put in there.

Even syntactically I don’t understand how current PROVIDED BY the FC can be an input.

Thanks you very much for the answer.

Best regards,

Sascha
